After a warm welcome, Patrick will guide you through a maze of alcoves and cellars. These flow through each other and give us the biggest wine cellar of the city. Via the open kitchen, you will be brought to the majestic wine cellars with over 20.000 bottles of wine. Get lost in an underground labyrinth of paths and alcoves.
Make your way through exquisite wines who represent the entire world. You’ll be able to enjoy your aperitif while you wander through our 19th-century wine cellar and chat with our Chef Patrick Van Herck to go over your menu. A visit will show that ‘Class and quality’, the slogan of House De Colvenier, is grounded. The customer needs to feel at home which is why the menu can be discussed with our Chef. Restaurant Huis de Colvenier
When you are staying in one of the beautiful apartments, Hotel De Colvenier has to offer; a dinner at Restaurant De Colvenier is a must-try! You can find the restaurant at the down floor of the hotel. You are welcomed in a gracious hallway which is characteristic for Huis De Colvenier. After your welcome, your personal waiter will guide you to your table via our open kitchen.
Do you prefer dining in between ornate frescoes or in our green garden? Perhaps you prefer a more classical setting in one of the Renaissance rooms in this building with ornate chandeliers, stately fireplace, and squeaky floors. Enjoy a 3-4-5- of 6-course menu and let us surprise you with our main course, which is always served under a shiny clock.
Patrick Van Herck swears by the French kitchen to which he adds his own identity through his creativity. His menu follows the seasons, but asparagus, langoustines and lamb are our house staples. Daily fresh produce such as foie gras, exclusive types of fish, wild and homemade desserts can always be found on the menu. Discuss your menu with the chef during your aperitif in our wine cellar. We can adjust the suggested menu to your likings, add your chosen wines, etc. we can fully tailor our menu to your preferences.
